BYU Women's Conference 2012

I went to the BYU Women's Conference for the first time and it was amazing!
I really enjoyed going and definitely needed it after a hard week. I have decided that I should make it a yearly thing and definitely go with more friends next time!
Here's a few pictures from the last 2 days.
Lish and I
Lish, Heather, Katie and their Mom
One of the service projects was to make fairy wands for the Police Departments and Hospitals for children that are abused.
I made this one!
One of the coolest parts of the Conference was that my "Aunt Sue" spoke during one of the conferences! She's not really my Aunt, she's technically my Mom's cousin, but she's basically one of my Aunts! Sue did an amazing job and I was able to hear some good stories about my great Grandpa Samuel Martin, I really do have an amazing family history that I need to learn more about!

My "Aunt Liz" and "cousins" Lauren and Sarah were able to come hear her speak too!

They had some good deals on art work at the BYU Bookstore so I decided on this one of Christ by Simon Dewey!

Kickin' some trash

My nephew Lincoln had a birthday party at his Karate studio on Saturday and it was so fun to watch the kids and "Dad's" have fun!
Lincoln and Tate
What's a Birthday Party without doing tons of push-ups? haha it was awesome, the instructor was way cool and after teaching them something, they would then go down for some push-ups. I'm sure the kids slept well that night!
One of the holds that they were taught
Ryan did the hold to Rob and knocked them both on the ground
Lincoln kicking over some mats, he's a pro!
Tate!
Tanner
Chandler
Rob, look how high he got!
Ryan, I took the picture too late, but he did jump
So mature haha
Tate over 4 mats
Chandler
Ryan
For this move, the instructor ran and kicked all 3 things in a row, it was right, left, right foot and it was awesome!
Tate's attempt!
Chandler's Attempt
Ryan was the only one that actually did it and knocked all 3 of them down! It was awesome and he was pretty proud.
Lincoln was able to cut his cake with a huge sword!
So cool! If you need an idea for a boy party, it was definitely a cool one!
And speaking of cutting Birthday Cake, we had a Birthday Party for Jacie on Saturday too! Here's her and her cake!

Happy Birthday Princess! hahaha Perfect for a 23 year old!

Notice anything different? He doesn't have any hair on his face! Yesterday I pretty much dared him to shave it all off cuz he hadn't had a "clean shaven" face for over 3 years. I prefer him with facial hair, I just forgot what he looked like without it.

Easter!

The Easter Bunny came to our house and filled our Easter Baskets with some goodies!

My family came over for Easter Dinner, an Easter Egg Hunt or Hunts and Games!
First of all, some of our new chairs! Can you tell I'm way excited about them?
The youngest group of kids did their East Egg Hunt first!
Rob and Jen, do you see the hidden egg in this picture? It's in robs pocket...
Some of the kids looking for eggs outside
For the older kid's Egg Hunt, we hid them a lot harder. Jen even put some in the bathroom

The older kids acting like they're sleeping when we come get them to start looking for their eggs.
Brig thought that eggs full of candy would float, which it did for a few seconds, but by the time Chandler found it, it sunk. Brig forgot that there's little holes at the bottom of the egg. So we made Brig eat the gooey candy inside
Brig pouring out the lemonade from the jellybeans
Sierra was loving all the candy
Some of the adults waiting as the older kids hid the eggs for our hunt. The younger kids were in the room because they have a problem with telling people where the eggs are hidden.

Most of us hadn't participated in an egg hunt for years, so it was fun that the adults got to go looking for eggs too!

We played some games too!
Sierra and Chandler, I wish I was as tan as Chandler, I guess being outside playing tennis all day does that to you.
More Games!
It was a lot of fun spending time together! I love getting together once a month now!

What a steal!

It's been a long time since updating. We've done a lot of things and have had a lot of fun, but I don't really have any pictures from any of them, so here's a few updates with some pictures!
Ryan and I went with his OSS Team Bowling!
Family Dinner from March
Chandler, Lincoln and Tate messing around in the back seat

The boys slept over one night so we played some games!

Tate and the Jumpin Monkey's Game
Max got slapped...by himself.
We played a Zombie Board Game!
We went to the Holi Festival and got covered in colors!

Girl's Fondue Night!
Kelsey came down from Idaho so she and Zach came!
Me and Jacie

Sheepies
The best thing! Ryan and I have a ton of parties and gatherings and we always have to borrow folding chairs from Ryan's parents, well I looked on KSL 2 hours ago and found a guy selling these chairs for 13.50 each, which normally they're 25 bucks so we called him and he had 16 left, so we went to go get them and offered to take all 16 for $10 and he said yep!! So we now have 16 chairs and they are the awesome ones!! Woot woot! Best Easter gift ever!!
