TCC OSS!

If you've been reading my blog lately, you probably know that Ryan has been doing AMAZING at work, so last month he had an interview for an OSS position. There were 3 positions open in a few other departments and a few weeks ago he found out that he didn't get one of the three...he was pretty bummed. But HR had sent him an email saying that "he wasn't declined and they're still considering him for a position". That was pretty confusing because there were only 3 positions and the 3 positions were full. Well today he got a call from the OSS supervisor in TCC offering him a position! He was soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
excited :)

TCC (Top Customer Care) is the department that he has been in for most of his time at eBay, and he's excited to stay in that department and now be OSS (Operations Support Specialist) which means that he won't be on the phone nearly as much and he will be couching and training the representatives in TCC! It's so exciting!!
He is so excited that he hasn't been able to focus on his 10 page paper due tomorrow, but luckily the paper is almost done! haha
With all the pro's of his promotion comes a big con in my mind, but we knew that it was going to happen, but instead of Ryan and I working the same hours, Ryan will be "swings" which his start time will be anytime after 1pm-3pm...So pretty much opposite schedules. But he knew what he was getting into when he applied and he's still way excited! I'm excited in a lot of ways, but a little bummed that I will never see him. Luckily he will be working Mon-Fri with only having to work a weekend once every other month or so, but again, with a promotion comes some different things, both good and bad, but there are definitely a lot more good!!
And now tonight we are going out to Olive Garden with Ryan's parents and Chubbs to celebrate! You're amazing Ryan and don't you forget it!!
