We need a pitcher, not a belly itcher!

Well, none of the 3 pitchers(Ryan, Dan and Ricky) that we had during the game tonight were "belly itchers" but...um we did get a lot of walks. They all tried sooo dang hard and at times it was hard to watch, but they kept giving it their all! Good try guys!

So, here's what happened. As you can probably guess, we lost tonight. And it was a pretty big loss.

The game started out well with it being tied 5-5, and then we got up to 7-5. Within the next inning, it was 7-12 with the other team in the lead. Then it was our inning and they got us out.

Here's where it all goes downhill. Within the next inning, they got 19 runs, and about 15 of those were walks...which was hard to watch. So time had run out, but since we were the home team, we had to bat last. So we finally got them out and the score was 7-30! Yes, 30! Lets just say, it was a bad inning for our team. And with our final inning, we scored a few and the end score was 11-30.

On top of the game being pretty difficult to watch, the babies and kids were a little crazy today. Between me and Andrea, we had 3 infants under the age of 4 months, 2 toddlers and two of my nephews. Two of the babies were crying and needed to be held and the toddlers were freezing. So we got a blanket from our car and had the kids wrapped up to keep them warm.

I brought my camera, but forgot the memory card in the laptop at home, so I didn't get pictures from tonight, but I had to take a picture on my phone of the kids bundled up.

There's Kyra, Tate and Armani bundled up trying to stay warm.

But to be positive about the game...they didn't get a lower score then their last game! So technically they didn't do any worse? Maybe? So good effort and we'll get them next time! Hopefully.
